The property was stylishly, richly appointed, impeccably clean and provided many unexpected amenities: coffee, tea, and treats at all hours, turn-down service, fresh fruit on every floor, a French press for morning coffee, soaking tub with jets. Breakfast was elegantly presented and upscale. Many dining options within a block or two and a Saturday farmer’s market. Staff always greeted us sincerely. It was as if we had been transported to a fine French hotel.

The attention to detail. There is everything you need in the room and more. Beautifully and tastefully decorated, very clean, spacious. Both a shower and a bath in our bathroom. A real sense of a luxury in downtown Pleasanton. We had a drink at the bar in the evening and the service was excellent. Breakfast was wonderful and a bit different from the usual offerings, which was very welcome!

Room was beautiful with so much attention to detail. Gorgeous bathroom. Loved the decor. Beds and pillows so comfortable. Continental breakfast was great and laid out so beautifully with nice touches like little rose detailed spoons for stirring coffee and hollandaise sauce for boiled eggs and ham. General Manager was so nice talking with us. Turn down service with mints and more. Music softly playing for ambiance. Fruit and treats at floor elevators. And on and on and on.

The beds are so comfortable and they have a wide range of room types from large lavish suites to regular rooms with little special touches such as chocolates with bed turn down, candle for the jacuzzi bath, and a spiral notebook with pen on the desk. However, the hotel is beginning to look its age. Worn bedspread, grout missing on tile, and rugs that have had multiple cleanings. But it remains a very beautiful hotel with lots of amenities in a great location.

Beautiful small hotel with a very classic feel. Comfortable room with every amenity you could need. Friendly staff. Breakfast was Excellent. Great location to walk around downtown.

WOW - What an exceptional experience at the Rose. The room was SPECTACULAR. The attention to deal was everywhere. The covered parking, commentary fruit and snacks everywhere, great Euro style breakfast and friendly attentive staff.

A gem. Meticulously maintained, beautiful facility located in the heart of downtown Pleasanton. Walking distance to beautiful restaurants shopping et cetera.

The Rose Hotel is a gorgeous property in an ideal location on Pleasanton's Main Street. Every detail is looked after with care, and the rooms are spotless. You feel like you are staying at your wealthy grandmother's updated home!

Great breakfast! Not your typical continental breakfast, a lot of extras! Beautiful display of freshly sliced fruits and pastries!
